2. Core Principle
The Klikkr app is built with a privacy-first approach. The app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. There are no user accounts, no cloud sync, and no tracking analytics.
3. Local Storage Only
All match data, scores, settings, and paired wristbands are stored strictly locally on your device. No data is transmitted to external servers.
4. Required Permissions
To function as a display and remote control for the Klikkr wristbands, the app requires the following device permissions:
Bluetooth (BLE)
This permission is essential. It allows your phone to discover, connect to, and exchange score data with the Klikkr hardware beacons via Bluetooth Low Energy. No Bluetooth data is shared with third parties.
Camera
The camera is used exclusively for the built-in QR code scanner. This allows you to quickly pair Bluetooth devices (MAC addresses) without manually searching through the Bluetooth device list. The camera is only activated when you explicitly open the scanner. No images or videos are captured or stored.
Location (Android 11 and older only)
On older Android versions, scanning for nearby Bluetooth devices requires the "Fine Location" permission due to the underlying system architecture.
We do not determine, read, store, or share your physical location at any time.
5. No Third-Party Sharing
The Klikkr app does not share any data with third parties. There are no ad networks, analytics tools, crash reporting services, or any other third-party integrations. Your usage remains entirely private.
6. Data Deletion
Since all data is stored exclusively on your device, simply uninstalling the app permanently deletes all associated data. No data remains on external servers.
